Yoga for Happiness
Yoga for Happiness is open to all levels, no matter what your mood! You will learn yoga techniques to lift your mood; relieve anxiety, stress and fatigue; reclaim your energy and zest for life; reconnect you with yourself and your spirit; and help you to feel balanced no matter what is going on in your life.
Yoga 101 is a basic class just for beginners, or people who haven't done yoga in such a long time they need to start from the beginning. You don't need to be flexible, strong or able to move in any certain way. Just show up wearing something comfortable and ready to enjoy yourself!
Rise and Shine Yoga
Rise and Shine Yoga is a Level I-II Hatha Yoga class designed to wake you up and get you ready for a great day.
Morning Vinyasa Flow
Wake up and get ready for the day with Morning Vinyasa flow. In Vinyasa Flow practice, Hatha Yoga poses are linked together, moving with the breath from one pose to another. This type of movement increases muscular and cardiovascular strength and conditioning, stamina and lung capacity, all while relaxing and refreshing the body.
Hip Openers is an all-seated, all-levels class for those who want to relax, while building strength and flexibility in the hips, all while nurturing their bodies and minds.
Yin Yoga and Gravity Stretch
Yin Yoga and Gravity Stretch is a relaxing, yet challenging, style of yoga which targets the tendons, ligaments and fascia within the body. Each posture is performed on the floor, and is held for an extended period of time (three to five minutes) to encourage the slow and safe opening of connective tissues. As a result, the student experiences an overall feeling of lightness and peace. Yin Yoga is a great remedy for stress and is a perfect complement to a more yang, active style of yoga. This class is $15 and is open to all levels of students.
Therapeutic and Restorative Yoga
Therapeutic and Restorative Yoga features breath and body awareness while resting, using props such as blankets and bolsters. The student feels stress and fatigue melt away, while opening the body to its breath, creating relaxed flexibility and feelings of space and release in the body.
Mindfulness Yoga is a Level 1 class featuring yoga asana combined with Buddhist mindfulness and concentrated breath awareness, creating a deep sense of peace and relaxation, while effectively working the body.
Rock 'n Roll Yoga
Have fun doing yoga to great rock music from the Beatles to Nickelback to Van Halen. This class is appropriate for everyone who likes music and yoga.
Tai Chi is an all-levels class which is not only fun, but Tai Chi can increase flexibility; increase energy, stamina and agility; increase feelings of well-being; improve muscle strength and definition; and improve balance & coordination.
